Marriage is a favour from Allah and an emphasised sunnah of the Messenger ﷺ.
The Qur'an and the Sunnah describe marriage as a means of chastity and as half of one's deen. Yet for those who want to live by the Sunnah, finding a practising partner has become genuinely hard. Sunan Matrimony was built to solve exactly that.
What we set out to do
- Make it straightforward to find a practising partner in a shariah-compliant way.
- Build awareness against dowry.
- Normalise the sunnah practice of paying mahr in cash.
- Publish every biodata only after verifying it, with the guardian's permission.
- Bring Bangladeshi families at home and abroad onto one platform.
What we do not do
- We publish no photographs — the biodata has no field for one.
- We provide no way to contact the bride or groom directly; contact always goes through the guardian.
- We promise no outcome. We are an introduction, and the decision belongs to the families.
