The whole process at a glance, from creating a biodata to speaking with a guardian.
Getting started
- Create an account — a mobile number or an email address is enough.
- Fill in the biodata form. Every step saves itself, so you do not have to finish in one sitting.
- Once submitted, our team reviews it by hand. This usually takes one to two working days.
- When it is approved it appears in search, and on your district page.
What a biodata needs to be approved
- Men: the five daily prayers, a sunnah beard, trousers above the ankle, and the guardian's permission.
- Women: the five daily prayers, the obligatory purdah including niqab, and the guardian's permission.
- The guardian's number must be a different number — a biodata listing your own number as the guardian's is not approved.
- Incomplete or doubtful information is sent back with the reason stated.
How to make contact
- Give salam and introduce yourself before anything else.
- Speak only to the guardian — never directly to the bride or groom.
- Call at a reasonable hour, and do not keep calling once the other side has shown no interest.
- If anything feels wrong, report it from the biodata page itself.
